The HP ProCurve Switch 2510 Series was designed as an essential solution for small and medium businesses. There are four available configurations, featuring 24 or 48 ports, up to four dual-personality ports, and reliable 10/100 and 10/100/1000 connectivity. The included ProCurve Auto-MDIX feature automatically adjusts for straight-through or crossover cables.

High link availability in multiple VLAN environments is made possible in the HP ProCurve Switch 2510 Series through the use of IEEE 802.1s Multiple Spanning Trees. Advanced reporting of statistics, history, alarms, and events is provided through the use of RMON. The included Web Management Interface allows configuration of the switch from any computer on the network.
